Pat Powell has vocally supported many of Australia’s top recording artists over the years including Kylie Minogue, James Freud, Jenny Morris, Toni Pearen, Tina Arena, Margaret Urlich, Max Q and Paul Mac to name a few.

Here is a singer with serious street cred that has fronted many successful bands including Club Ska, Sly-Tone, LoveTown, Ten Wedge, Neptune Street and most have led to international supports from Queen, The Eurythmics and James Brown to Sidney Youngblood, Technotronic, Luciano and Horace Andy.

On a corporate level he has sung for all the major banks, insurance companies, car manufacturers, ad agencies, sporting events eg. The Jamaican National Anthem for the Australia v Jamaica Holden Netball final 2007 and even played Santa Claus for a Microsoft xmas party.

At present he is the front man for The Pat Powell Band, The Protesters & Chocolate Jazz plus he’s a member of the Melbourne Ska Orchestra who recently returned from a successful 2014 tour of the UK and Canada playing the Glastonbury Festival, the Montreal Jazz festival, the Quebec D’ete Festival and the Northern Lights Festival and back home “Garma”  Australia’s most respected indigenous festival.

Pat is on record, on cd, online and streaming with The Ska Vendors, DJ Omegaman releases, DJ Mark Walton’s “Fretless”, Introducing Illya Szwec, Bridie King, Twisted Tales – Yunyu, Baby Cino,  Aleeoop! and Declan Kelly’s “Diesel & Dub”, plus he’s a session singer/vocal coach/voiceover artist whilst freelancing in other projects within the Blues, Funk and Reggae arenas.
